~ REV. LEO A. REILLY SCHOLARSHIP FUND ~

In memory of Leo A. Reilly, S.J., Saint Malachy Parish maintains a scholarship fund, and provides grants toward the cost of higher education. The Scholarship Committee welcomes requests from parishioners who have completed at least one semester of higher education. Youth from the parish and religious/clergy students are given priority consideration, but other requests are entertained as well.

Donations to this fund are always welcome, and an annual parish collection is taken up each year. The program has awarded grants each year since its inception in 1983.

Father Leo Reilly, brother of former pastor, Joseph Reilly, presided at Eucharist here in the parish for many years. He is fondly remembered by parishioners. A stone plaque in front of the church, and the Risen Christ Crucifix in the Chapel are dedicated to his memory.
