message = Ken, Pat received Carolyn Miller's message that Lenny will
be presiding at the Mass at MCI/Framingham on 4/26. Pat and I want to be
kept on the prison ministry list, but we won't be able t be there on the
26th, since we will be at the annual Interfaith Counseling Service, Inc.
dinner at Boston College that night. That's the organization that David
Killian headed up for many years. Pat and I hope that we can be at MCI in
May. See you Sunday.

date: Mon, 13 Apr 1998
name = Kathleen Reynolds
from = Wilmington
message = My family and I thought Easter Mass was exceptionally wonderful
(but isn't every Sunday Mass at St. Malachy's?). The music was beautiful
and I was wondering if a recording of the choir and musicians was available?
If not, perhaps Ken would consider taping this wonderful group and selling
the recordings to parishoners and others. My young children have to suffer
through my rendition of "Our Father" each afternoon and night.
It's amazing they can fall asleep! Just a suggestion...

name = David Millar
from = Worcester, MA
message = St. Malachy staff and parishoners. I am greatly impressed with
the layout and presentation of these web pages. It puts many major corprations
pages to shame. Great job and keep up the great work.
I also second Jeff Daigle's motion to post Fr O'Malley's homily, it would
be great for us who are unable to attend due to being away @ school.

name = DICK REILLY
from = MALDEN MA
message = at the insistence of Steve Morecroft, I've visited your page
and was pleasantly surprised-and pleased -to see the Church making what
appears to me to be a valid and honest approach to bring itself into the
modern era.The page was well constructed and thought out; the information
clear and concise-but most importantly-especially to one like myself who
no longer participates in religious activities-is the sense of warmth and
community that is projected on these pages - I wish you well in this endeavour.

your parish so I could visit your parish 24, 7!!! If you hear of any two
bedroom apts., cheap, let me know. I love St. Malachy's. My husband Pat
and I would love to live near your parish so we could worship there more
regularly than we do now since we live in Natick. Keep up the good work,
your Adult Education is GREAT!!!

name = Christine A. Walzer
from = Burlington, MA
message = Hi All.
I always thought that a web page for St. Malachy's would be a great idea
since our world is so Web-Oriented now. My husband is Jewish and occasionally
comes to church with me. He was never comfortable in the other church's
we've tried in the area. But he definitely sees my attraction to St. Malachy
- he says it's a different atmosphere, more welcoming. Interfaith groups
are great for learning more about eachother and also for refreshing our
minds about what our faiths are about. Have you ever considered forming
such a group? Just a thought.
Anyway - very nice web page.

date = Mon, 2 Feb 1998
name = Jeff Daigle
from = Watertown, MA
message = Dear Lenny, Ken, John and staff,
It was a pleasure to see this web site. I'm proud to be a part of St
Malachy Parish. The information contained was easy to use and very nicely
done. Hey John, your taking a chance wearing that T-shirt in Patriots Country!!
I enjoyed the introduction to the staff and the brief bio that accompanied
them. It's always nice to get a little background on the people that keep
the wheels in motion. Also I appreciated the coffee house section. A great
way to inform people of upcoming shows and dates, with a little promotional
spot for the performers! My hat is off to the person(s) responsible for
the piece on St Malachy. VERY INTERESTING!
Is there any way to get Fr O'Malleys homily in here each week? WOW! wouldn't
it be nice if we could share the wisdom that he speaks every Sunday. I truly
enjoy the way he relates the Gospel to our every day lives. He has a uniqueness
in his thoughts and manner of presentation that, for me, is truly inspiring.
I think about it all week long until the next Sunday's message. I know he
fills others with hope and guidance as well. This parish is blessed!! Lenny
brings us all closer to God every time he shares his words with us. I know
that it's probably a dream to have his homily put in words on the web. So
I'll take this time to encourage anyone reading this to join us on Sunday
and hear it for yourself. It's a wonderful place....come share the experience
with us.
Jeff

name = Elizabeth
from = Wheelock College (Boston)
message = I love our church! (as we were reminded @ mass, it is not the
walls that make a church, it is the people).
I felt an instant sense of peace and belonging the first time I entered
St.Malachy Parish. When my family moved a year ago,I unwillingly left the
church I had grown up in. While just beginning the search for a new house
of worship,I found myself seated inside St. Malachy's, where I instantly
felt connected.
When I went off to school in August, I attended services @ Emmanuel College.
I left mass feeling somewhat empty; I had heard the Word of God, prayed
and received communion, yet I did not feel rejuvinated. I came to the realization
that going through the motions of mass was not enough; I missed the community,
the children and the music. Since early September, I have been coming home
to attend the weekend liturgy @ St. Malachy Parish.
This web page is great.

message = This is a wonderful concept for getting information about your
parish out. I especially like the news about directions and mass schedules.
It is handy for those online and the pictures will help newcomers identify
who's who.
I'd like to talk to you about how to do this for St. Mary's.
Peace and blessing to the entire community and Happy New Year.
