** Not currently implemented, call for more information
On the second Sunday of each month the 10:30 AM Mass is signed for the deaf and hearing impaired.
The first row on the right [lectern] side of the church is reserved for those who would find this added ministry helpful.
Children's Liturgy of the Word:

Most Sundays of the year at the 10:30 AM Mass there is a separate Liturgy of the Word for children.
After the opening prayer those children who would like to participate are blessed and process into the chapel area where the readings are drawn from the Children's Lectionary.
Music, prayers and a brief homily geared for children are also part of this special and popular experience.
The children rejoin the main body of parishioners during the Presentation of the Gifts.
Music:

All of the weekend liturgies at Saint Malachy have a complete musical program including hymns, psalms and acclamations.
At the 4:00 PM [Saturday] and 8:00 AM [Sunday] Mass, the music is accompanied by either piano or organ and a cantor.
The 10:30 AM Mass is accompanied by a thirty voice adult choir singing four part arrangements.
The music incorporates the best of traditional and contemporary settings.
Coffee Hour:

The 10:30 AM Sunday Mass is followed each week by a coffee, juice and donut reception in the parish hall below the main church.
When you visit us for Mass we hope you also will be able to join us for this time of conversation and community camaraderie.
Other Ministries:

All of our weekend liturgies are blessed with a full complement of lay minister greeters, lectors and musicians.
Communion ministers who serve both the consecrated bread and the cup.
At the 8:00 AM Sunday Mass communion ministers are sent forth from the assembly to bring communion
to those hospitalized at the nearby Lahey Clinic.
